40-2504805 Delco distributor cap, used on the G 2300 4 cylinder Hercules engines.
Hercules used two brands of distributors, Delco and Prestolite. You’ll be able to determine the brand by looking at your distributor cap, the Delco type will use two screws that holds the cap on, the Prestolite used clips.
This will be item 1 in the Delco-Remy drawing.
The drawing shows a 6 cylinder cap as a reference, your purchase will be the 4 cylinder type.
